Jewellery has been sold at 25 Blythe Road within Matthew Barton Ltd’s series of auctions since November 2010.

Jewellery features as a dedicated section in our biannual European and Asian Works of Art auctions. The department focuses on all types of antique, period and modern jewellery, including luxury brands, marked and signed pieces such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels and Andrew Grima, as well as a wide range of necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings from the 17th century to the present day.

Among recent highlights are: a 3.17 carat diamond ring, which sold for £9,000; a gold and micro-mosaic ‘Archaeological’ demi-parure, by C. & E. Tombini, Rome, circa 1870, sold for £3,200; and a diamond and emerald ring, late 18th century, sold for £20,000.
