each with broad leaf-shaped blade of hollowed diamond section, and robust tapering socket (some old pitting), each on its wooden staff of circular section mostly covered with a trellis of leather thongs secured by dome-headed nails, one carved in chip work with longitudinal lines and with cord binding at the top, 32.5 cm and 35.0 cm heads (2)
