A NORTH INDIAN SPEAR, 18TH CENTURY, PROBABLY BIKANER AND ANOTHER

LATE 18TH/19TH CENTURY, PROBABLY HYDERABAD

the first with tapering head formed with a reinforced tip and punched with a number at the base, and tapering faceted socket formed with a moulded collar top and bottom, tapering basal spike en suite (haft missing), with two pronounced fluted bulbous mouldings; the second with two stage terminal spike of tapering section, swelling and hollow-ground at the base and tapering faceted socket enriched with chiselled roped designs, the first: 18.7 cm (3)
