with broad tapering curved blade formed with a reinforced back edge and decorated on each face with a long broad panel of silver and copper alloy scale ornament, copper alloy and horn grip, and small ivory beaked pommel, in its carved wooden scabbard with large silver mounts (small restorations), 23.5 cm overall
