with sharply tapering double-edged blade formed with a medial ridge and a reinforced point, H-shaped iron hilt formed of a pair of wavy side-bars, a central moulding incorporating a flowerhead, a pair of robust bud-shaped terminals on each side, and decorated throughout with pierced beadwork borders, in an early fabric-covered wooden scabbard, 35.7 cm overall
