of shallow convex form, with four steel bosses each decorated in koftgari with flowering foliage and with petalled border, the separate riveted rim decorated en suite and with cusped inner edge, the interior with later burgundy velvet pad and four rings with remains of en armes (some old rust patination); together with a brass-hilted dagger, with recurved double-edged blade with double central fuller on both sides, and X-shaped hilt with central moulding (2)
