the tapering blade (tang extended) with double fuller over its entire length on both sides, copper alloy hilt with half-guard of flat scrolled bars incorporating a Phrygian bonnet on a column and linked to the knuckle-guard, pommel-cap, and cord-bound leather-covered grip (slightly incomplete at the top, wire binding missing), in its steel scabbard (pitted) with two suspension rings, 97.5 cm blade
