AN INDIAN DAGGER (KATAR), LATE 19TH/20TH CENTURY with tapering blade swelling slightly towards the point, etched in imitation of watered pattern within a pair of broad shallow converging fullers on each face, gilt-iron hilt comprising a pair of fluted side bars and a pair of moulded grip-bars, in its leather-covered wooden scabbard (small losses) 17.4 cm; 6 7/8 in blade
