A PAIR OF ENGLISH BRONZE SALUTING CANNON, EARLY 19TH CENTURY with multi-stage tapering barrels formed with raised mouldings at the muzzles, and raised bands dividing each section, struck with London view and proof mark on each side of the vents, globose cascabels, a pair of plain trunnions, and stamped '3' and '4' respectively beneath the middle bands: each on an associated stepped oak carriage (the carriages worn) 47.5cm; 18 3/4in barrels (2)
