A PAIR OF FRENCH SILVER CANDLESTICKS^ ANTOINE LUCAS^ PARIS^ 1781¦shaped circular bases with ovolo border below a fluted band^ the knopped and flared stems of canted triangular outline with shells and scroll moulding^ charge and discharge marks of Henri Clavel^ with probably associated nozzles with moulded rims^ each engraved with a coat of arms and another shield with obliterated arms¦27cm high^ 1402gr (45oz) ¦++Showing traces of a small coat of arms (or cartouche) to bases^ and two old small patches and solder to underside^ one stem with slight lean^ good marks.¦
