Courage Onyekachi Opara is a contemporary Nigerian painter based in Owerri, Imo State. His passion for art began in childhood, nurtured by illustrated storybooks and formalised through a National Technical Certificate in Decorative Painting. His practice is rooted in a close observation of human experience; the textures of everyday life, movement through time and space, and the emotional layers that accumulate within ordinary existence. He has exhibited at Chilli Art Gallery, London, and at Thought Pyramid Art Gallery, Abuja, and was a runner-up in the Next of Kin series competition organised by Thought Pyramid Art Centre, Lagos.
