Olubankole Olabode is a Lagos-based cross-disciplinary artist who graduated from Yaba College of Technology and Design in 2015 with a National Diploma in Fine Art, having previously trained at the Universal Studio of Art at Nigeria's National Theatre. His practice ranges across painting, installation and performance, and engages critically with religion, socio-political life, and the overlooked moral pressures of contemporary Nigerian society. Olabode has exhibited at the Omenka Gallery, Lagos, and has steadily built an international profile through works that combine technical rigour with an unflinching willingness to interrogate collective experience.
