OFFICERS' UNIFORMS OF THE EARLY 20TH CENTURY

OFFICERS' UNIFORMS OF THE EARLY 20TH CENTURY comprising a Major's scarlet Full Dress tunic of the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, with distinctive narrow cord and button to ends of collar and good gilt buttons bearing a bugle-horn within the post-1908 regimental title, surrounded by a laurel wreath, badges of rank in silver embroidery (lining partly replaced); a crimson silk waist-sash and pair of overalls with scarlet welts (lacking foot-straps); together with an officer's blue Full Dress tunic originally of the Army Ordnance Corps, now fitted with Royal Artillery buttons, shoulder-cords and collar-badges but retaining original gold lace and braid decoration to collar and cuffs; a crimson waist-sash and pair of blue trousers with 1 3/4inch scarlet cloth stripes
