A LEFT-HAND DAGGER WITH 17TH CENTURY BLADE, 19TH CENTURY

with tapering fullered blade from a transitional sword, stamped with a brief inscription (indistinct) within a short fuller on each face, iron hilt, comprising Mamluk style quillons with faceted dome terminals, tapering faceted grip, bulbous pommel en suite with the quillons, and the upper portion of the grip and pommel inlaid with silver lines, 32.0 cm blade
