A depiction of the Qianlong Emperor (Emperor Gaozong of Qing) and the British Ambassador Lord Macartney meeting on 14 September 1793 at the Wanshu Garden, also known as the Garden of Ten Thousand Tree. Now a UNESCO World Heritage site, Wanshu Garden is in the Chengde Mountain Resort.
