formed of six upward-lapping lames (the lower lames missing), the top lame fitted with three pierced studs and swivel-hooks for attaching it to a fauld, the bottom lame with a double-ended iron buckle at its inner end, all embossed with four recessed vertical bands joined by slender diagonal bands, and enclosed with pairs of incised lines, 23.5 cm
