with crescentic blade decorated on both sides with silver-gilt foliage inhabited by a lion attacking a deer, rounded socket and waisted block-shaped peen encrusted in silver-gilt with symmetrical designs of flower-heads against finely punched grounds, gilt retaining screw and shaped washer, on tubular socket entirely covered in silver-gilt en suite with the head, large silver-gilt bud-shaped terminal threaded and opening to reveal a slender double-edged blade of flattened diamond section, 13.2 cm head, 53.0 cm overall
