A NORTH EUROPEAN BALLOCK DAGGER, CIRCA 1450-1500, PROBABLY FLEMISH

in excavated condition, with tapering blade of flattened-triangular section (tip missing, chips), iron hilt extending over the forte and inlaid with copper alloy lines, and wooden grip carved with two characteristic pronounced basal nodules (losses), 33.0 cm overall
