‡ A RARE LURISTAN IRON AGE II DAGGER, 1100-900 B.C.
in excavated condition, with tapering blade formed with a broad medial ridge on each face, integral hilt of characteristic form incorporating a crouching lion on each face of the forte, disc pommel with a beaded mask on each side, and banded grip, 38.5 cm overall
