17.5cm high (excluding wood stand)

Chinlon or cane ball is a traditional game played in Southeast Asia, with a hollow ball, made of rattan. It is thought to have origins as early as the 7th century. For a photograph of a game dating from 1895, now in the British Library, see Photo 430/15(63).
