A BALLOCK DAGGER, LATE 15TH/16TH CENTURY in excavated condition, with tapering single-edged blade of triangular section, tapering wooden grip of characteristic form including two basal lobes (cracked, two detached chips) and the pommel with a small brass tang washer 32cm; 12 5/8in Found in the River Thames near Three Cranes Wharf.
