with earlier sharply tapering blade of watered steel, encrusted with a brief gold inscription (small losses) on each side of the forte, including the date 1121 AH (circa 1709), robust tapering grip encased in punched gilt metal decorated with beadwork and divided by silver bands, in its matching scabbard bound with plaited silver wire (chape detached)
