with etched crescentic head chiselled with a calligraphic cartouche highlighted in silver and decorated with gold scrollwork on each side, flat rear pean decorated with further calligraphy en suite, on its steel haft with alternating faceted and writhen sections, the former with silver koftgari scrolls (rubbed)
