with swamped two-stage sighted barrels, engraved with foliage and inscribed 'London' over the breeches, engraved grooved tangs, signed border and scroll-engraved locks, figured walnut full stocks carved with raised apron mouldings about the tangs, engraved brass mounts including pierced foliate side-plates, trigger-guards, pommels engraved with large expanded flowerheads, vacant escutcheons and brass-tipped wooden ramrods (one tip missing)
