A RARE 6 BORE PERCUSSION HARPOON GUN FORMED ENTIRELY OF STEEL, THIRD QUARTER OF THE 19TH CENTURY with very heavy blackened sighted barrel formed in two-stages, rounded side-hammer action covered by a plate on the left, integral 'skeleton' butt with a loop for retaining cord on the underside, steel trigger-guard, a pair of ramrod-pipes, and brass ramrod (pitted, painted black throughout) 50.8cm; 20in barrel
