with tapering blade double-edged towards the point, formed with a scalloped back-edge and etched ’Peter Henderson maker Glasgow’, silver plated ferrule cats with thistle foliage in low relief, cap pommel en suite, basketweave grip, in its leather-covered wooden scabbard with matching mounts including locket with crowned horn enclosing HLI monogram above the motto and mascot, complete with its accompanying knife and fork and a leather strap for suspension, 47.8 cm overall
