with curved double-edged blade formed with a reinforced tip, chiselled with a slender foliate moulding in a recessed panel on each side at the forte, iron hilt of characteristic form including a pair of sidebars chiselled and encrusted with gold foliage around the borders and terminating in flowerheads, and a pair of grip-bars with further gold flowers (small losses)
