A DECORATED IRON BUCKLE, LATE 17TH/18TH CENTURY, PROBABLY FROM AN EQUESTRIAN HARNESS

with plain bar fitted with two pins, scrolling side-plates joined by a large rectangular panel pierced with a symmetrical arrangement of scrollwork enclosing the initials 'AT', and retaining some tinned finish, 17.8 cm wide
