A RARE BELT BUCKLE FOR A LLOYDS PATRIOTIC FUND SWORD, CIRCA 1806
formed of two pieces of gilt-brass cast and chased in low relief, each with rectangular loop with foliate border, the outer decorated with Hercules slaying the Lernean Hydra and holding a Union shield, the lower portion inscribed 'Patriotic Fund 1803'
