A LARGE LEATHER POWDER-FLASK, CIRCA 1770-80 of bottle-shaped form, the inner face flattened, the seam previously incorporating four loops (now missing), the base impressed '3', fitted with copper nozzle with threaded top, and the latter with hinged locking catch 30.0 cm; 11 5/8 in high See Neal and Back 1980, p. 20, no. 34.
