A MEDIEVAL DAGGER WITH COPPER ALLOY HILT, PROBABLY LATE 14TH CENTURY

in excavated condition, with tapering double-edged blade of flattened-diamond section becoming flattened hexagonal towards the forte, copper alloy hilt comprising straight guard with drooping globular quillons, wheel pommel with incised designs on each face, a central shield and traces of red pigment, 32.3 cm overall
