AN INDIAN DAGGER (KATAR), LATE 18TH/19TH CENTURY with triangular blade of watered steel, formed with a reinforced point, each face with a recessed panel chiselled with a panel of foliage in the centre and at the edges, the former terminating in a flowerhead at the forte, iron hilt formed of a pair of side bars, a pair of faceted grip-bars, chiselled throughout with flowers and foliage (cleaned) 23.8 cm; 9 1/4 in blade
