Japanese netsuke sculptures to sell for charity

A group of 79 rare Japanese netsuke from the collection of British ceramicist Edmund de Waal, which inspired his best- selling memoir, A Hare with Amber Eyes, is to be auctioned at Matthew Barton Ltd., London, on November 21. The proceeds from the auction will go to the charity The Refugee Council.
