Olympia Auctions announces Indian and Islamic Art Auction featuring the collection of Robert Skelton OBE
At the heart of the Indian and Islamic Art Auction at Olympia Auctions, on Wednesday 20 May, is the private collection of Robert Skelton (1929–2022), one of the foremost scholars of Indian Art. Through his career at the Victoria and Albert Museum and decades of scholarship, Skelton helped develop international understanding of Indian painting, sculpture and decorative arts.
