'What to do with Granny's Jewellery: Wear it, Change it or Sell it' by Anabel Yorke

24th September 2019
What to do with Granny's Jewellery: Wear it, Change it or Sell it. A Talk by Anabel Yorke Image

The Talk which is raising funds for West London Action for Children, is packed full of suggestions of what to do with pieces of jewellery that hide in the bottom of drawers, in jewellery cases or indeed bank vaults. Anabel gives suggestions on how to wear old jewellery and provides ideas about converting pieces you wouldn’t otherwise wear/know what to do with. She dips into the history of fashion, accompanied with lavish illustrations, and will give tips on how you can get a maker to redesign jewellery and the possible pitfalls associated with this. Finally she provides selling and insurance advice.

Drinks and nibbles are served.

West London Action for Children offers a range of counselling and therapy services for children and families in need who are based in the London boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham and Kensington & Chelsea. For more information visit: www.wlac.org.uk
