In Conversation with Edmund de Waal and Max Rutherston

World renowned ceramicist and author Edmund de Waal and Japanese Works of Art specialist Max Rutherston discuss the story behind the collection of Japanese netsuke belonging to de Waal's forebears, the Ephrussi family, made famous in his memoir ‘The Hare With Amber Eyes’. 

Seventy-nine netsuke from the collection Edmund de Waal is 100% sold at auction two days later.

This small private event raises funds for the Refugee Council.
