with signed blued octagonal sighted barrel opened by a lever ahead of the trigger-guard and locked by a German silver catch on the left of the breech, engraved blued steel tang fitted with adjustable peep-sight, enclosed action, double set trigger, figured walnut full stock carved with a small panel of chequering at the fore-end and the grip, raised cheek-piece, blued steel mounts including butt-plate incorporating a pumping rod, shaped wooden trigger-guard, horn fore-end cap, and horn-tipped wooden ramrod, 66.3 cm barrel
