Ikechukwu Ezeigwe is a Nigerian artist who studied Fine Art at Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education in Lagos, graduating at the top of his class in 2009. He later earned a B.A. in Painting from Obafemi Awolowo University in 2013. Ezeigwe is known for his experimental style, often featuring hybrid forms of animal heads with human bodies, addressing themes like contemporary politics and social issues. His work has been sold at major art auction houses in Nigeria, including Arthouse Contemporary and Bonhams. He has participated in several group exhibitions globally and had his first virtual solo exhibition, Beast of No Nation, in June 2020. Ezeigwe won the Thought Pyramid's Next of Kin Juried Competition and Exhibition in March 2019. He currently lives and works in Lagos.
