A PARIS PORCELAIN 'TURQUERIE' FIGURAL VEILLEUSE (TEA WARMER), PROBABLY JACOB PETIT, MID 19TH CENTURY

modelled as an Ottoman lady seated on a mound, with outstretched arms holding her headdress, decorated in gilt and polychrome with blue robe, trousers with repeat floral pattern and yellow belt, the mound open at the back, the figure detaching from the waist, with gilt tasselled cap for the cover, 37cm high
