each with spear point of hollow diamond section damascened with panels of gold- and silver-damascened foliage and arabesques at the moulded base, flattened kite-shaped terminal and tubular haft decorated en suite, the latter between two spiral twist sections, the threaded finial opening to reveal a long slender blade of square section, in their wooden scabbard covered in black leather seamed along the inside, and gilt-metal locket and chape each chased with foliage inhabited by birds on both side, the former with two suspension rings, both 81.0 cm long
