with earlier Italian sighted barrel stamped 'Becalo's Franzini e Ferrari' over the breech, flat lock of characteristic form, hardwood full stock profusely inlaid with shaped mother-of-pearl plaques enriched with minute brass nails (small losses), brass mounts comprising sideplate, trigger-guard and butt-plate, an iron ring for suspension and iron ramrod, 115 cm barrel
